A note from the builder

Azalea and I have been married for 10+ years and have advanced training in marriage and family therapy and in psychology, respectively. Over the years we've seen directly why relationships and marriages fail, and we've curated resources and built frameworks to help strengthen the chance that they stand the test of time. Daily Us is our effort to share that with more couples so we can more effectively reflect the beautiful image of Christ's love for His Church. We're live and still sharpening — if something doesn't work for you, I want to hear it. Reply to any email or write hello@bytheway.biz.

The drift you already know

Marriages rarely fail in a blowup. They fade a quiet week at a time.

  • • You love each other, but the week ends and you barely talked.
  • • The hard conversation keeps getting postponed.
  • • “We should do a date” never makes it to the calendar.
  • • Roommates with good manners — and you both feel it.

It's not a love problem. It's a no-rhythm problem.

Picture it instead

A marriage with a daily on-ramp back to each other.

Six small things a week. Sunday rest.

The compounding is the point. One practice a day for a year is 312 small acts of attention you wouldn't otherwise have made.

MonAppreciate

Name what you see in them.

TueAsk

A curiosity question, not a polite one.

WedTouch

Six seconds is the floor.

ThuPlan

A specific date, on the calendar.

FriReflect

Your private journal.

SatPray

A guided prayer over your spouse.

SunRest

No prompt. Your streak is preserved.

What's in the app today.

Everything listed here is built and working. Anything still in the works shows up here only when it launches — not before.

The Daily 60

One small practice a day, six days a week. Sixty seconds is the floor — fifteen minutes if you want it. Six-day cycle through Appreciate, Ask, Touch, Plan, Reflect, Pray. Sunday rests. Your streak counts what you actually did, not what you didn’t.

Weekly Sync

Five things each — wins, frictions, the week ahead, one ask, appreciation — filled in on your own. You only see each other’s answers once you’ve both finished. Writing yours before you see your spouse’s is the whole point: you say what you really think, instead of just agreeing with theirs.

The Marriage Read

Once a week, AI reads what you two already logged — the Sync, your commitments, the daily practices — and writes back one honest read with one small thing to try together. Either of you generates it; you both see the same words. The unit is the marriage, never one of you over the other.

Marriage Essentials

The ABCs, as a checklist you live: Always date, Build each other up in Christ, Conference on marriage. Either of you checks an item — it counts for both. The list resets itself each week and month, so it’s a rhythm, not a guilt trip.

Intimacy Check-in

Rate the three levels — spiritual, physical, emotional — in sixty seconds, and see each other’s read side by side. Different numbers aren’t a problem; they’re tonight’s conversation. Trends show the quiet drift while it’s still a small correction.

Quarterly Check-in

A lighter check-in four times a year — January, April, July, October. A short guided conversation to celebrate what’s working, name what’s drifting, and aim at one thing together for the next quarter. We email a nudge at the start of each quarter so it actually happens — and it keeps the year from getting away from you between Annual Reviews.

Annual Review + PDF

Nine reflections on your year together, written privately and revealed when you both mark complete — the conversation for your anniversary. Anchored to your actual anniversary, not the calendar year. Download the year as a printable PDF — the keepsake artifact you actually keep.

Hard Conversations Library

Thirty scripts for the conversations marriages avoid. Money, sex, in-laws, parenting, repair after a fight, big decisions. Each script has the opener, what not to say, the repair path, and a follow-up. Scripture pairs in your translation.

Date Night

Tell us budget, time, location, vibe — get three real dates with logistics, conversation starters, and (when the date’s at home) a recipe. Mark what you did, loved, or skipped; the surface gets better as you use it.

Daily reminder email

A 7am-local-time email with today’s prompt — but not on Sundays, and not on days you’ve already opened the app. One-click unsubscribe in every email. The product is called Daily Us — the reminder is how the daily actually happens.

Free for 7 days. Then $19.99/mo per couple.

Try everything for a week without a card. After day 7, subscribe to keep going — billed $19.99/mo for both of you on one bill. Cancel from inside the app any time.

Want more than marriage? See the seven-app portfolio at bytheway.biz — Daily Us is part of the Marriage bundle ($49.99/mo) and the Family bundle ($64.99/mo, all seven apps).

Scripture in the daily.

Every prompt, every script, every prayer is grounded in scripture. Pick your Bible translation in onboarding (ESV, NIV, NLT, CSB, KJV, or Message); it flows through every passage in the app.

Not denomination-specific. Not politicized. A simple, daily way for two people to keep showing up — together, with God in the room.
